Draft Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2026-2030

Project Overview

We want to make City of Prospect a place that is accessible and inclusive of everyone.

When the community is accessible it's easy for everyone to find places, use facilities and move around safely.

When the community is inclusive everyone can take part and feel like they belong.

The draft Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2026–2030 (the Plan) describes how we aim to achieve this.

Now we want to hear from you if we have got it right.

About the draft Plan

We worked with our Access and Inclusion Advisory Group and Purple Orange to create our Plan.

The Plan has 4 main goals. These are:

  1. Create accessible and inclusive transport

  2. Support people with disability to be leaders

  3. Provide disability training and share more accessible information

  4. Use more universal design

Find out more by reading either the full draft Plan or the Easy Read version.
