Consultation has now closed - thank you to everyone who had their say regarding the development of 2 new pocket parks.
As part of the Ovingham Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP), the Department of Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) committed to providing new areas of open space to the community through developing new pocket parks in now-vacant land.
The City of Charles Sturt ran community consultation to seek input about the development of 2 new pocket parks at the following locations:
- Torrens Road x Drayton Street, Bowden - approximately 4,000m2
- Torrens Road x Chief Street, Brompton - approximately 2,670m2
The consultation on the initial landscaping designs for the Drayton and Chief Street Pocket Parks is now closed.

Please note this is a City of Charles Sturt consultation.
While City of Charles Sturt is running this consultation, these pockets parks are near the boundary with City of Prospect and for that reason, we wanted to make sure you knew about this consultation.
