Disability Access & Inclusion Advisory Group

Membership of the Advisory Group will include:

• Local community members with a lived experience of disability (either personally or through a caring/support role).
• Individuals who work in the disability sector.
• Elected Members.
• Council staff.

The Disability Access and Inclusion Advisory Group will:

1. Provide advice and feedback to Council relating to the implementation of key priorities and actions of the Disability Access and Inclusion Plan
2. Provide advice and feedback to Council on policy or strategy development and review, across key areas relevant to people with a disability
3. Provide advice to Council on how to identify issues that are relevant to people with a disability
4. Identify further opportunities within the Disability Access and Inclusion Plan.
